On November 26, 2005, WKU honored Danny by framing his jersey, providing his family with his Diploma, setting up a scholarship fund in his name,and placing his initials on every players jersey.

Mr. Bill Williams coach of Postive Image AAU Team in Philadelphia has retired Danny's number 11. Here he is presenting Danny's jersey and a plaque to Danny's mom Candy Owens and grandmother Alice Rumph.
