The DER II Foundation cordially invites you to participate in the 2nd Annual Daniel Eric Rumph II Basketball Tournament taking place at the Daniel E. Rumph II Recreation Center on August 9th through August 12th.

 

One of the Daniel E. Rumph Foundation's missions is to raise awareness and provide screening for Hypertrophy Cardiomyopathy in order to prevent sudden cardiac arrest among young people. The Foundation has partnered with Medtronic, Inc to achieve another mission of providing Automated External Defibrillators to Philadelphia Recreation Centers. Danny’s Foundation has placed 3 AED’s into local Recreation Centers.

 

All proceeds will go towards helping to place more AED’s in Philadelphia’s recreation centers. The DERII foundation also provides extensive training on how to use and maintain the device along with CPR certification and training.  

 

Tournament information:

8 teams

Double Elimination

Fee: $350

A down payment of $100 must be paid by July 25th to reserve your teams spot.

 

Games on Thurs and Fri will be played at 6:00pm, 7:00pm, 8:00pm, and 9:00pm.

Games on Sat will be played at 9:30, 10:30, 11:30, 1:00, and 3:30

Championship will be held Sunday at 12:30
